The Genelc 5040A conveniently features a remote volume control allowing adjustment of the entire sound system as well as versatile acoustic controls for perfect room integration. Designed by Genelecs RD team in co-operation with internationally acclaimed Finnish designer Harri Koskinen, the 5040A subwoofer features an unobtrusive, modern appearance. The 5040A features a magnetically shielded downward firing 6 12 bass driver attached to a die-cast aluminium base plate. The base plate also serves as the chassis for the 40 Watt amplifier and crossover filter circuitry. The 5040A packs a respectable punch of 96 dB maximum sound pressure level. The built-in crossover unit on the 5040A features six RCA input connectors for five main channels and one LFE channel and five RCA output connectors for the 6010A loudspeakers. The main channels have a fixed high pass filter to work with Genelec 6010A loudspeakers. ToadWorks Texas Flood is a a classic overdrive modeled on the legendary TS-808 circuit. It's not a clone - we don't make clones, and there was certainly room for improvement on this classic circuit. Texas Flood has undergone extensive testing by professional guitarists in both live and studio settings, and the verdict is in - we blew the competition out of the water. Let's face it, the TS series of pedals are the most popular in the world, and have been for almost 30 years. Everyone's got one, but the complaints are always the same: No bottom end, less than perfect tone control, not enough range of gain. The boutique pedal world responded with a sea of clones and mods, prompting endless discussion on carbon Vs metal film, qualities of different 4558 op-amp models, thru-hole Vs SMD, and a million other tonal factors both real and imagined. The sheer number of variations on this one theme suggests that to this day, no one got it right - until now. ToadWorks Texas Flood is an op-amp based overdrive effect, featuring asymetric diode clipping and a unique tone stack derived from the classic TS-808 circuit. Unlike the original on which it is based, Texas Flood has a big bottom end that just won't quit, and a tone control that sounds good across the whole range of sweep.

The Low range equates equates to the performance you would come to expect from a stock vintage Marshall amplifier in terms of tone and available gain. The High range adds an extra preamp valve into the signal path, facilitating those classic hard rock tones of the seventies. Add to this the ability to dynamically interface with your instrument's Volume and Tone controls and the experience translates into a truly expressive and organic feel in performance.

Two frequency selective Pre-amp Volumes (Gains) - Body and Detail - facilitate greater flexibility in tone shaping for individual guitars and styles while the power amplifier is heavily influenced by the first Marshall amplifiers to be produced, with four KT66 output valves yielding that substantial, fat and smooth tone. A MID Boost switch on the front panel fattens the tone even more while a traditional Marshall tone control circuit enables fine tuning of your sound.

A master volume has been included in order to practically manage the output levels at all venues. This is implemented after the phase splitter in order to fully exploit maximum preamp drive when the master is turned down low. A reverb level control mixes the on board plate reverb with the direct signal to whatever degree the player chooses. The reverb can be toggled on and off via the footswitch.
