ToadWorks Texas Flood is a a classic overdrive modeled on the legendary TS-808 circuit. It's not a clone - we don't make clones, and there was certainly room for improvement on this classic circuit. Texas Flood has undergone extensive testing by professional guitarists in both live and studio settings, and the verdict is in - we blew the competition out of the water. Let's face it, the TS series of pedals are the most popular in the world, and have been for almost 30 years. Everyone's got one, but the complaints are always the same: No bottom end, less than perfect tone control, not enough range of gain.
